Emily enjoys spending her days with children. She says “They are absolutely amazing! If we as adults pay attention, they will teach us many things.

I’ve worked with children most of my life in various capacities (childcare, church ministry, camp and in the public-school system).

It’s hard to label my favorite thing about children. I love their sense of discovery, their imagination, their zest for life, and their desire to learn. There’s nothing that can match the sound of child’s laughter or the hugs they give.

I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 42 years. We’ve raised two daughters and now enjoy life as grandparents. We love hiking, going out on the canoe, and all types of sports.”

Emily is a wonderful asset to this team. She has worked very hard to obtain a Child Development Associate. With over 20 years of experience, Emily is a dynamite teacher that goes above and beyond her job description without being asked.
